If there's a bunch of people which you should not sue...

It's a company whose dealings is in the media.

Companies such as Magazines and Newspapers and such.

I mean, look at the recent case of a famous charity organisation, which deals with a certain body part disfunction, sueing a major player (or the only player) in the newspaper industry.

The result?

They are going to dig up enough dirt that you could use it to pile over yourself many times over.

And oh, tell the world about it in the process.

I mean, if they didn't sue, the world would not have known that T.T (I like that name. Looks like a smilie. :D)earns 550k a year, that the funding is used for first class trips and such. I'm kinda betting that the next charity drive will result in the lowest donations in over 10 years or so.

The report against T.T and gang is rather damaging. Organisations such as these rely on people's trust on the organisation, and hence pledging their hard earned money to the "people who will benefit". Heck, if people who earns less then 2k a month learned of the golden tap stuff, I doubt they will really donate after what has happened.

What's the purpose of having a golden tap, a golden toilet bowl and 8 cars? It's a charity organisation, damnit. That means that their money comes from the people who willingly donated. Charity organisations should appear to be as poor as possible, in order to get people to donate. Hence, why the 8 cars? Why can't the CEO take a bus to work everyday? Won't that get the people talking? Heck, that will even give the organisation a good image as well. But no, as with quite a number of organisations out there, those on the boards are filthy rich morons, living on the money of people who can't pay for their electricity bills. As what Khor said, "Their early salary is more then my pension". XD

Oh well. Ever since that it's known that this organisation has quite a huge sum sitting in the bank and collecting interest, many people have stopped donating. This article further destroys people's faith in the organisation.

I, for one, never liked donating because I'm not supportive of all the "stunts" which the actors/stars have to do in order to raise money.

Thank god for SCV these days. Charity shows can be boring at times. It might be a little more interesting if someone cut off a head of a chicken and sewed it back together. Since that won't happen, I'll move on to ESPN.

However, can an organisation have "enough funds"? I mean, even if someone is sitting on a gold mountain, it will run dry sooner or later. How much, is too much? Is there a cap saying "ok, 1 billion is enough. We shall stop our efforts now". Perhaps with a little more money, they can tone down on the amount of donations required. A little income is good, but as long as the reserves don't dry up in the next 5 years or so, I am all for organising more donations.

That, and the fact that they should stop lying to people. It's not like they have a dollar left in their reserves or something. At least make it clear. You want people to donate? Trust us by giving us some accurate information. If you don't trust us, how can we trust you?

Also, this also marks how powerful the media can be (as mentioned above). The paper was more of "for" their camp. For example, their lawyer will always be mentioned as "senior counsel", while the organisation's legal team has been referred as "lawyer" at least once. Also included were all the huge pages which the paper delicated towards the issue, with the dialogue and such in place (perhaps even edited? I hope not.) The word "business relationship" between T.T and a female director is placed in inverted commas, which may result in people thinking that something else is going on.

The power of the media....

Shocking.

AMG season 1 has finally ended! After 16 episodes of fillers or so, it came to quite an interesting end with Keichii and Belldandy kissing each other at the end. T_T

It's extremely emotional, even for a guy like me whose tear ducts seem to have stopped functioning.

While the themes where rather poor, in my opinion, and also the soundtrack being not as strong as those from Tsubasa Chronicle or Gundam Seed Destiny, the anime makes up for it with a pretty solid storyline, and a rather decent character building. The relationship of Belldandy and Keiichi was scripted rather nicely, although it was a little rushed. The drawing was pretty decent, but hey, if an anime's drawing is crap (Xenosaga), it will die out soon.

But most importantly, IT HAS AN ENDING!

I hate those damned animes with a shit endings (Cowboy Behop...), or endings which are so damn confusing, you have no idea what it's talking about (EVA), or those sad endings. I'm a sucker for happy endings. Sue me.

8.5/10. Pretty neat, but if the sound department would beef itself up, it would have gotten a 9.5/10. Not bad for a romance anime, and this is from a action/Mecha fanboy.
